Born in 1985, Nick Alm spent his formative years studying in Gothenburg, Florence, New York, Stavern, and Paris, honing his skills in drawing and painting within the classical tradition. He has garnered numerous international awards and regularly showcases his work across Europe, America, and Asia. Currently, he resides in Stockholm.
In 2007, Nick was accepted into the Florence Academy of Art, where he also served as a teaching assistant. Following his graduation, he was awarded a scholarship to participate in The Hudson River Fellowship, focusing on landscape painting. A significant portion of 2011 was spent working alongside Odd Nerdrum in Norway and France before Nick returned to Sweden to establish a new studio.
Nick's talent has been recognized with several international accolades. In May 2012, he was honored with an "Exceptional Merit Award" at the Portrait Society of America show in Philadelphia. The following year, he clinched the First Place Prize in ARC's International Salon, and in 2014, he received the prestigious "William Bouguereau Award."
Since 2015, Nick has held two solo exhibitions at Arcadia Gallery, with another scheduled for October 2024.
