Artem Rogowoi is a painter from the Kharkov region of Ukraine. As far back as he can remember, art has always been a part of his life. He focused on art throughout his academic career and eventually attended the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts. Part of his program was learning painting restoration which eventually became his trade. His knowledge of painting technology and ancient techniques helped streghten his own work and brought it to higher level.
Rogowoi mixes several styles of painting in his compostions. Each piece is based on analyzing the work of previous generations of artists and their own personal experience. Natural textures and elements are two aspects he likes to focus on empasizing in his work.
As a perfectionist, Rogowoi is constantly dissatisfied with his work and continually tries to improve upon each piece. Female figures dominate the majority of his works, but he has made several landscapes and still lifes. Rogowoi is currently based in Ukraine.
